Best Gym Workout App

The ability to have all of the information on the Apple Watch was the seller for me. I didnt think it would work as great as it has because so many apps over-promise. This one is hands down the best fitness app for the gym Ive seen.

This fitness tool is a Swiss Army knife!

This app does it all. Buy it. Track cardio, weights, measurements, all while leaving our iPhone behind and utilizing your Apple Watch. Buy it. WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS? Dive in!

Good enough

Tracking my workouts is hit or miss, sometimes it does sometimes it doesnt. Wish there were more exercises with Dumbbells and the watch doesnt keep the app active. It goes to standby during reps and I have to open the watch then navigate to the app. Other than that, its a solid app.

Finally found it

Best fitness strength training app Ive found.

Great Native Features And Customizable

Great interface and robust built in exercises. Customizable as well. Love the Apple Watch integration.

Wow great app

I am so impressed with this app on my Apple Watch and iPhone. It can be set up anyway you want. It tracks your workout and is easily changed during your work out if you choose to do so. This is a complex app that is easy to use. The available information and details goes to the highest level of working out yet I am able to to use and change to my beginners level.

Dont even use the exercises

This is one of my favorite fitness apps - and I dont even use the exercises! I wanted an app that would help me track my frog read with photos and weight. The infrastructure that holds this information is better than any Ive seen. I can keep an album for front, side and back to keep motivated on my fitness and diet goals. Love it!

Great app, just some minor issues

This is a great app for working out and love the watch function. Just a couple of "wants". Alerts on rest with watch, match rest times on watch with phone, maybe it does this, havent figured it out though. Lastly, when recording on the watch, it records 2 workouts one from watch, one from phone. All in all love it, but some minor flaws.

Best Apple Watch tracking app

One you figure out all the features, the watch app is really effective. Able to modify on the spot without accessing the phone app.

Good enough

My gripes are that there arent more exercises with Dumbbells and the watch doesnt keep the app active. It goes to standby during reps and I have to open the watch then navigate to the app. Other than that, its a solid app.

Great app

The community is great with providing other workouts if you grow tired of the default ones. Theyre great so your body develop muscle memory. You always need a shock to your system and this helps a ton. Apple watch integration is a greatly appreciated bonus!

Works well with Apple Watch

Ive tried almost all of the lifting apps. This one has the best all around usability. Its very easy to setup, choose your exercises and load onto your Apple Watch. I favored Jefit for nearly a year before finding this great app. One thing I would like to see added is a interval timer.

Impressed so far!

App is working great so far, Ive had no issues on my phone or watch. Please allow us to create a superset on the phone while building our workout. I find that while Im working out, remembering on how to do this on the watch face is a hassle. Also, I would like to see other types of workouts included in the app, like Kettlebell and HIIT exercises.

Best Apple Watch App period.

Not only is this the best Apple Watch app for tracking gym workouts that I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a lot of them), this is the best Apple Watch app I’ve tried across all categories — including native apps. Gymaholic has a ton of functionality natively on the watch, it’s responsive, it makes great use of force touch, and its easy to use. You can update weight lifted in a given set, add exercises, mark a set as failed, set up supersets and tri-sets and a lot more _all within the watch app!_ This is the first app I’ve used where I’ve wanted to give the developer more money so that they continue their amazing work.

Awesome!!

Integration with Apple Watch has put the device on another level among fitness trackers!

First app to get it right

It been searching for a good lifting app and this is the first one to get it right. The ability to do super sets is lacking from everyone else and was a must for me. They make it easy and very simple to use and the watch interface is the best one out their.

Keeps crashing on AW (updated)

Keeps crashing and restarting my workout on Apple Watch I reinstalled the app on my phone and watch and now everything works fine.

Superb Workout App I have ever seen

I usually not rated for apps . But when it comes to this app. I have to rate it .because I have been searching such app 6 months ago.But I couldnt find any app that similar to this app so If you are going to gym and You should have this app definitely. It helps you to never forget work-out . With using this app you can control your rest time between your sets and work out .that will be help you to achieve your targeted goals. Trust me buy a pro version.you will never regret.

Amazing app! Highly recommend!

This app has everything I was looking for from customizing my own workouts with desired exercises, sets, reps, and rest times. Love the Apple Watch functionality as well, it is very well put together with an easy to use interface and Im able to edit workouts easily and quickly on the spot. Updates are still being applied which just keeps making it better and better. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because there is no way (yet) to compare progress of my previous workouts to see my improvements. I think thats all it really needs to become the perfect app in my opinion. I have already recommend this app and continue to do so. I can see this app being a top fitness app in the Apple Store very soon! Keep up the good work guys, two thumbs up to the developers!!

Great app which is still being improved

Let me start by saying I have had this app for 3? Versions now. The developers are still working on it. It wasnt dropped after release. The Apple Watch integration is great. I like being able to set my rest and be able to track my sets by a simple tap. I would like to see Apple Watch tap alerts to notify you when your rest period is up. That would be awesome. The system lets you use other peoples workouts or you can completely make your own. You can change and customize to your hearts content. The one thing this app does not do or I have not been able to find, is the ability to track your progression specifically with exercises. Yes it provides you the ability to record your external and cosmetic changes but it does not let you track and record what you benched 3 weeks ago so you can easily track your progression. Wouldnt it be awesome to be able to record what you benched each workout for 3 months on a graph to see your progress? That would be the icing on the cake for me. Edit: Above I mentioned that the app does not record like your bench press weight and reps and such. I found out that it actually does. The problem is it is buried. You have to go into your history and click the "!" Next to an exercise to see the graphs. I would suggest taking what you already have and instead move it out into the progress area. If possible I would also like to see like a table. Like each exercise on a day. Just to keep using bench press. Like the left column was the date. Middle was weight and right was reps and sets.
