Best fitness strength training app Ive found.

Dont use on Apple Watch

Im going to start this out by saying that this is an excellent app. The functionality is great and its easy to use. The reason im giving it 2 stars is that when I run it on my Apple watch it causes some sort of a bug that continually drains the battery of my watch. Ive even taken my Apple watch into the Apple store, had it sent out to be looked at and even the technicians working on it couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. Got it back a few weeks ago and this is the ONLY 3rd party app i had on my watch. And as soon as i started using it again the same problems popped up. The iphone side of the app is great. And i loved the Apple watch side. But i will not use it from here on out.

Tracking progress

This app allows you to manually set weight and rep amounts, has indicators for what sets and reps you are on with corresponding resting periods, and works with the native health kit on iOS. All of this is done with a simple UI. I took me about 5 minutes total to understand everything. Not only do they have built in workouts, but you can make your own custom workouts as well. Best app for the watch out there right now.

Great app but...

Id give 5 stars if it incorporated warm up sets and let you count your actual reps completed. Great over all workout app otherwise. Keep up the good work.

Love this app

This app works well for me and keeps me on track with my workouts. I love how it can be customized and the I can keep changing my exercises.

Love this app

I love how I can compile a video of my progress in the app. It wont add to my photo library so I do not have to see my slow transformation unless I go to it in my app. I also really like the watch component. I am new to the gym so it really helps me plan my workouts for when I get in the gym!

You have created the best Apple Watch App. An app actually designed for the watch, and not to help the iPhone. YOU EVEN LET THE APP UPLOAD DATA to apple HEALTH GENIUS!!! Your designs are great. This is the best app in the apple store for apple watch. Don’t let anyone say otherwise. I am a DIV 1 soccer player at Michigan State, and my team and I love this app. It is making us more efficient at working out. You are changing us. It is 98% perfect, and it only needs to things to become perfect. 1. Music, if there would be a way to change music, even just skip a song. Music is crucial in working out for people, and I think adding this ability would put you even farther above your competition. 2. Let us edit our weights on the main screen, without force touch, while resting, so that next time we do the whole exercise we can increase weight. yes we can force touch through a few menus, but by the time we do this, and set everything up, we have missed our rest period, and thus, the workout could be hurt. Just using the digital crown while in the main screen to change the weight for that set would be INCREDIBLE. With that, you would have a perfect App. Thanks Devenyi

Tons of features, great Apple Watch UI

This app has a TON of features and the Apple Watch interface is great. A bit of a learning curve on some things, but overall a great experience. I only wish it had the option to schedule workouts. I noticed many community members name their custom workouts as Monday, Tuesday, etc to get around this, but my workouts arent the same days each week.

Perfect Gym App

I tried many gym apps before but they were too complex to configure and use. Not this one, it is easy to configure. After that you only give a swipe on your iWatch to record a set or jump to any another. Perfect, I love it and support developer teams like that with Gold. You do not need to drag along the iPhone or iPad, just the iWatch. Hey to stop the battery drain (see 2* comment below) you need to stop the app (green heart rate light) after the training by pressing on the glass dude!

Great app!

This app is great for beginners who want to do an effective workout but dont really have direction of what to do. The countdown between sets keeps you focused on your work out. Overall, this is a great app, especially with the iwatch

Best gym/lifting app ever!

Without an Apple Watch, this app compares to a number of other gym apps, but where it stands out by 1000% is when you have an Apple Watch!! Its insanely handy for tracking your lifting routine by simply tapping on the Watch to take you through your rest interval and into the next set. You can even change reps and sets right on the Watch as well. If you are in the market for a fitness band and are a lifter, get an Apple Watch and this app, youll be thankful you did!!! Great job on this app!

Best workout app for Apple Watch

Ive tried about a dozen, and this one is hands down the best. Its so easy to customize, and dead simple to use. Uploading the workouts to the watch and leaving my phone at home is the best! No more fiddling with my phone at the gym. I highly recommend this app, especially for Apple Watch users.

Great lifting app

Ive been trolling the App Store to find a great app for strength training and weight lifting. Gymaholic by far is one of the best app out there! It has extensive workout listing and modifiable workout routines; not to mention it pairs great with the Apple Watch, highly recommended! I went for the pro version just to get rid of those banners but the free version is great too!

Absolutely brilliant

It takes some time to customize but after that it is a fantastic tool to keep track on the gym time. Bought the paid version after a day... Big thanks!

Best of Class

I used to use Gain, then dabbled with a few others, and now with this app I finally have a full suite of easy to navigate workouts with all the data and features I want. 1 Star removed because common exercises are missing, and I suspect they are missing because an artist needs to illustrate them, and not because its an extensive Dev burden.
